I'm based right in the South of Devon.

I've just been looking at this post and I'd like my car to look like that Porsche!

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

The problem is that Revolution Detailing are too far away. If they need the car for two days (which looks likely judging by their web site) it would be a long drive followed by two days kicking about waiting plus overnight accommodation etc.

So I need a similar outfit but in Devon or possibly west Dorset or east Cornwall (or south Somerset I suppose).

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi.

Do a search in your area at www.pro-valets.co.uk

There are a few members down your way.

Adam at revolution is honestly well worth the journey, he's very close to the train station. I was very impressed with his work indeed.

I know Simon at Prestige comes very highly regarded and have corresponded with him. came across as a top bloke.

I'd say you wouldn't go wrong with either of them. Definitely worth the wait for them to fit you in.

Good luck.

That's a possibility. Your profile and web site say that you're in Gloucestershire though. confused

I might give Adam a shout and see if he thinjs it can be done in a day. He does seem very highly rated.

I honestly can't praise Adam enough. Here's his work 6 months on

If its not a daily driver, I'd look into driving up, train home. When ready train back and collect. If you have anywhere undercover, could also be worth asking if he's in the area anytime soon. I'm pretty sure he's mobile also.

I don't often stick my neck out any put forward recommendations but would with revolution. A great guy that produces an excellent finish. Well worth your effort to getting the car to him.

Booked in with Adam at Revolution Detailing next month for an 'Enhancement Detail'

http://revolutiondetailing.co.uk/services/enhancem...

The car is in pretty good shape now, it's waxed twice a year and clay barred once a year so it will be interesting to see what sort of improvement Adam achieves.

Really looking forward to getting it done. smile

Adam did a "Protection Detail" on my C63 Merc yesterday, I was absolutely delighted with the results and the car is already attracting more attention (in a good way I hasten to add).

Top bloke too, would highly recommend, I shall be going back quarterly for top ups.

Cheers

The waxing less so, but the fact you have regularly clayed the car in the past means this is one stage of the work which is not required, or is needed less so, when it comes to the car getting a proper polishing. smile The claying is the best decontamination method to ensure paint is ultra smooth prior to polishing.
