Not sure if this should be in here or 'Kit car' so thaught I would give it a go here first. I'm in need of a new silencer and back part of the exhause for my kit. The person I got the car from had taken out all the baffels from the silencer so it is now too loud for the majority of tracks, reading about 107ish db.

Does anyone know of somewhere that can make one up. I have found a place that deals with powerflow exhausts in yeovil but was wondering if anyone has dealt with others or has recommendations or anyone on here I can give my business to? biggrin

Thanks all.

The cheap option is just to visit your local exhaust fitter. Most will happily let you measure their stock for size - if you can find a direct replacement (with baffles) so much the better.
People like Merlin sell exhaust parts to make up your own system. Obviously it's better if you can weld but you can you exhaust clamps.

(Merlin are based at Castle Combe circuit near M4 J17 Chippenham

Thanks for that, will have a look down in Bridport and on the website. I went to my local place but as there are lugs welded onto the existing silencer they said they wouldn't have anything also it's on my list of things to learn is to weld so can't make it myself yet frown

I have a exhaust from these chaps and it's the dogs. not expensive but took my tiger Super cat from just about getting on track at 99.5db on tracks where a limit was 100. I went to infinity and after fitting it took it straight to castle combe the same day and it made 89db. so I could even get on there.

my Tiger in on their website http://www.infinity-exhausts.co.uk/show_gal/Misc/0

if you want a good quality well made and quiter exhaust it's worth going 1000%
