Alloy wheel welding and refurbishment
Discussion
Hi all.
I have tried the Pistonhead search but it does my brain in. I need to find somewhere reputable to weld a crack in my alloy wheel, and if the costs are reasonable to refurb the other three.
I am based in Deadruth but any where in Cornwall would do as long as I get a good job.
Many thanks in advance.

and if you make the trip, ask Bob if you can see some of the machinery in the back. It's no two penny outfit. They have a machine for all stages of prep and paint. There's also usually a tasty piece of machinery from a local sports car dealer (porsche etc) that is on axle stands whilst the wheels are in being done.
Thanks all,
Exeter is not a problem with these recommendations, what sort of money are we talking about versus a new wheel.
Its a 20" Cremona on a XJ, without calling the main dealer garage I'm assuming a new wheel would be around the £300 to £400 mark. Tried searching breakers etc but cant find one and who now's what life it's had anyway.
Once again many thanks.

From what I have heard Polished wheel company in Wadebridge are pretty good. Planning on taking my BBS split rims there to be separated and refinished pretty soon.
