Evening all, hopefully this is in the right place!

I'm staying at a friends tonight and have a real urge to stop off on my way home to get some fish and chips.

I love a nice fish and chips so looking for somewhere recommended by PH'ers.

I'm in Wincanton at the moment, but willing to travel a bit 30/40 minutes or so.

Thanks smile.

Ps if anyone knows of any nice roads to ride down would love to hear them, got a day to myself for a change smile.

Anywhere really, I live in Poole so if there is a route that will take me back home, even better, if not I'm not too fussed.

Definitely Tony's in Somerton for fish and chips.

The tunnel at Beaminster is OK for a run through if that's your sort of thing, then head for the B3157 from Bridport to Weymouth. It might be a bit too far away for you but it's usually worth it for the views.

I've done that a few times, however wasn't too keen on it during the ste weather we've had. May do it Saturday if the weather doesn't get any worse though smile.
