If anyone watches it on catch up....who blasted past the mayor in their black Ferrari 430. Sounded very nice!


George Ferguson comes across as completely anti car. It will only be a matter of time before cars are banned from the city centre.

Old George alludes that he hates cars but owns and drives one. The only difference is it has an electric motor. Also the initial shot of him holding up traffic on his fold up bike.

Didn't agree with everything he said though he did have a few good points.

Why does everyone think they have a god given right to park on the road outside their house???????

Roads are for the safe and efficient movement of traffic - not car parks

I watched it, very interesting IMHO.
Fergi definitely appears to be anti car, who voted him in? I certainly didn't!
Didn't realise there are so many cameras across the city, will make me think twice before doing anything a bit (cough cough) dodgy!
Won't be too long before a congestion charge or similar is on the horizon me thinks.
Then we'll all be fd!
I think he's totally messing up the city from a traffic point if view, traffic and the flow of people in to a city is the life blood of the place.
When is he up for re-election, can he be voted in for a second term?
