Garage / workshop to rent Exeter area

Hi all,

I'm trying to find a garage / workshop around the Exeter area, could be a bit further a field if needs be to carry out work on a car or two, so ideally it has to be a double garage or slightly bigger.

Does any one know of any where around here which might accommodate this or even better have any where to offer? I did think of asking farmers but so far non have been very forthcoming.

Did you have any luck? I was looking for a place before Christmas but most of them were out of my price range or attracted business rates.

This place is in South Brent. From what I understand, offers will be considered as there are a few empty units on the site and they need some income. Plenty of room in the larger ones or both of you to share?
Might be worth an enquiry anyway.

No luck yet... It appears to be a common problem in this part of the world.

Thanks for the link stubby Pete, I think a unit of that cost would have to pay for itself some how, some thing I've been toying with for a few weeks now.

I was looking for similar in Exeter or Plymouth, and fuond the best place for info was local Estate Agents. However double garages are up to £100/week, about the same as a bedsit.

I was on the verge of actually buying on, when in-law had a fall and can't drive so we are using his old Corolla whilst the Maser sits in his double garage.

I used to rent a single garage in Heavitree for £69 a month. Not great for working on a car, but better than nothing. The guy I rented it from owned about 20 garages in one block, as well as others elsewhere so may be worth a shot?
