After 2 years of trundling around in my company Focus estate, much of it with muddy dogs and/or kids onboard it's really not a nice place to be anymore smile

Can anyone recommend a valet company that would come to the Yate area and give the thing a damn good clean? As above it's got 2 year's worth of crud in it so imagine it's going to take some time for whoever to do, which is fine.

The GS is disappearing into hibernation in Newton Poppleford this weekend and has a few light scratches caused by me applying polish with a dirty rag frown that need removing. Also a couple of small bits where seagull poo has left a stain (if you catch the light at the right angle) despite being washed off the same night. Need to take the clocks out to sort the speedo, and dismantle the mirror so the temp sensor plays nicely again.

I gather you have a slight paintwork fetish and wonder if you'd be interested in having a look at it one weekend?

Jesus! I am glad you posted the last pic, as the first one just set off my OCD biggrin

Good job! I tend to stick to the paint alone, but that's hell of an improvement of the interior. Mind saying (roughly biggrin) what you did as my Fabia needs some similar work, thankfully not to that degree.

No problem!

A general vac over everything to remove loose debris. A combination of brushing (I carry a selection from coarse to soft-bristled including a special pet-hair brush) and vacuuming to remove the hair and particles embedded in the carpet.

10% APC to remove the worst of the stains and dirt on hard surfaces and also some engrained dirt in the boot and rear of back seats. Interior Shampoo on soft surfaces. Vac and dust through then final trim and glass treatment to finish.

Good effort! I do tend to dislike that side of things. I prefer to stick to the paint. I'd put up some photos but I fear I'd be breaking some sort of rule on commercialism - Even though car detailing is far far far from my main job. Almost polar opposites! biggrin
