So, at the beginning of September a chap decided that my car was a good tool to use to stop his car at a red light. Fortunately it wasn't too bad and seemed to be only paintwork damage; scuffs, scratches and chips.

After the chap paid up for the repair, I booked it in with Jason and the guys at JB Autos after reading numerous recommendations on here, and seeing some of their work on their website.

The work they did was fantastic. I haven't had a chance to see it in the daylight yet as he agreed to open up temporarily after I finished work (an hour and a half after they normally close) so I could pick the car up, but under fluorescent lights it looked perfect. The car also got a clean for the first time since I've owned it hehe

Definitely another confident recommendation from me, and, of course, pictures of before/after to come thumbup

Here is a "before" picture. You can see the right hand half of the bumper looking a bit sorry for itself. There was also quite a badly done "smart" repair on a left hand section of the bumper just below the light cluster (which was there when I bought it) which has been sorted as a result of the work.

I'll put an "after" picture up when the light is good enough tomorrow.

Jason painted a car I had last year. It was important the job was of a very high standard. It was also a factory pearl which is normally a pig to get right. The results were excellent. I concurr with the op, it's a great bodyshop. Partly I imagine because it's a small concern and he puts quality control at the top of his list.

Cheers.

As promised, an "after" picture:

The colour match appears to be spot on, and the finish is fantastic. It was a bit rainy when I took the picture so it doesn't look quite as good as it should.

I've only got the picture to go on, but I'd go as far as to say the colour match is better than in the first picture.

I wouldn't be surprised. The bumper had some little rubbish repairs on (almost where you'd expect parking sensors to be) which weren't done very well, and the left hand light cluster had a smart repair underneath which wasn't very smart at all. You can see in the first picture it has a matte finish compared to the gloss on the right. Also, in the first picture the car is really quite dirty hehe

All of that no longer exists, and there don't appear to be any of the tiny dents that were there before either. Unfortunately I don't get to see it in the light very often at the moment, but when I do it looks so much better. Even the bits they didn't repair, because they cleaned the rest of the car as well biggrin
