Well in case anyone finds this in the future I thought I'd update this.
I have been emailing Jordan from Sutherland cars for a few days about a 350Z and found him quite pleasant to deal with by email.
Went up to see the car today with a mate and found a nice modern little unit in the countryside with two very friendly guys who clearly like cars. They made me a coffee and chatted while we looked over the car which, although not quite as good as I hope was still in nice condition.
They were happy for us to take the car out for an unattended test drive and didn't try and rush us or push the sale in the least.
They gave me what I felt was a reasonable trade in price on my ST and accepted a reasonable offer from me on the zed. We did the paperwork straight away and I drove away in my new car a happy man.
Very very easy to deal with and they appear to have some quite nice stock (not exactly high end at present but nice), I'd have no qualms about buying from them again. Thumbs up from me.

Interesting to read your experience. I'd never heard of them, but noticed they were local to Bristol and had seen the Cobalt 997 Turbo they have on their website - A nice spec and seems realistically priced. May be worth a look. Cheers

I've had pretty much the same experience as skahigh above. Professional outfit, very easy, hassle-free transaction, and the car was what they said it was. I live far from Bristol, but I will probably go to them for my next car.

I bought their M4 car late December 2015 and have to say it was hassle free. They took my C63 wagon and it was a smooth transfer. They even helped with new V5c and plate transfer etc. I came from Essex so Bristol is a slog but well worth it and justified using an independent dealer. That's always the fear when you step away from main dealers that you won't get the same aftercare service if something goes wrong but I hear no issues with these guys at all.

I didn't end up purchasing from them but they offered brilliant service when I was looking for a Z4M, unattended test drive and the car was exactly as described and in very good condition, salesman didn't BS, knew exactly what he was talking about, even down to the mods. Would of definitely of purchased from them if the alternative hadn't come up and even then it was a tough choice.
I have just used them for a repair on my 330i, EPS rack fault.
Booked in on Monday for a quick diagnostic and then returned on Wednesday for further checks and repair.
Fantastic service and I will use them again for servicing and any repairs. And will buy my next car from them.

Just to say I've bought three cars from them in three years (M3, RS4 and Q5) and cannot rate them highly enough.
Totally hassle, BS and pressure-free, they let their cars do the talking.
Very fair on trade in prices, they would sooner keep a decent turnover of cars than be greedy.
Ollie and Jordan (sales guys) are really nice guys.
I also use them for all my servicing etc and Dave who runs this side is also great.
Highly recommend them and they get some lovely vehicles.
