Work placements

I know this is asking a lot but would anyone like to help me out?
I am current student at the University of Hertfordshire studying BEng in Automotive Engineering. Im currently looking for workplacements for my sandwich year which will start Aug 2005. Im Looking mainly at trying to get a placement within motorsport, i was wondering if anyone knows anything or could help me out.

guess you want something local then?
you could try peninsula - i know they've used lads during summer break from uni, and also that they sponser some teams, but where the teams are based i've no idea.
what sort of job are you after?
does it have to be local to sw?

you might be better off asking in one of the other parts of the forum - general gassing or whatever.

think you'll find yourself very restricted if you need to stay down this way..

No it doesnt have to be in the southwest, i just posted it on the south west as i live there. Ideally would be nice to get a placement in the area.

Im looking for a placement in the motorsport engineering side of things, or automotive engineering in general. TVR or something but i dont think i have a chance.
