A work colleague has asked if I/PH can recommend some after-market parking sensor system and/or fitter in the Bristol area.
Not something I'm really familiar with so I'd rather not just google but try to get a personal recommendation please.

All old people need parking sensors - they'll be a must on my next car!

I had a "Witter" one fitted to the V70.

When I got too close to the neighbour's car he'd run out making a funny bleeping noise.

Fitted some to my wifes car , very easy to DIY fit and for less than £15 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PARKING-REVERSING-REAR-S...
The above kit is the one I fitted and comes with everything you need, hard to belive they can sell for so little, I paid £12.99 for mine

Ian

I got these fitted to both our cars...

http://www.parkingsensors.co.uk/

Superb product; great warranty etc plus I got their fitter to fit them which covered the parts and labour (and he did a deal on two cars as well wink ).

They work really well and were much less than the OEM fitment (half the price). They look as if they were factory fitted at source yes

Hi Barry

Cirencester and earlier this year - springtime I think.

Chap was a big burly fella in a boilersuit. Took around an hour or so from memory to do both cars (Saab 9-3 and a VW Golf), both ark blue. The sensors I had for the Saab were not the ones suitable for the black trim so he swapped them over there and then (for an extra tenner!!)

Great job done smile

Smashing here mate. Hope all's well with you?
The 'new' motor was a year old last month - still loving it though. It's a guilty pleasure - I know I shouldn't like a mass produced, low power, Jap coupe but I do. It's a hoot and practical too. Just started IAM Skill for Life course so out and about more than usual at the moment. thumbup
