M4 J19 (M32) to J20 (M5) was closed last night, causing me to divert via Bristol city centre in the early hours.
I couldn't help notice that there were many young ladies wearing very little in bus shelters. Should I have stopped to tell them that if they read the timetable, they would have realised that the next bus would not come for another four hours? I know it was warm, but having due regard to their welfare I was very concerned they may catch hypothermia...

I take it you mean St. Augustine's Parade? Named for the chap who said '"Grant me chastity and continence, but not yet."

Get any closer and you may catch very much worse than a 'cold' wink

I used to work on Plymouth Hoe. My parents (then in their late 70s) came to visit, so I parked at work and we walked into town for a meal.

On our return mum said

"Do you think that girl's lost? She was wandering around here when we arrived.
<pause and dad and I swap glances>...
And she's not really dressed for this weather".
