shout Anyone free for a drive ?

Sunday 18th August (next Sunday)

The route will change, but something like....
9.00am Meet at Tamar Bridge (Plym side car park)
Head for Route A38 for brekkie or a cup of tea
10.15 head towards Launceston, then Holsworthy, Hatherleigh, Crediton, Exeter.

Kind of a circuit around the outside of Dartmoor. Thus avoid the Moor tourists and the beach Grockles.

Anyone who wants to volunteer a particular road/route, then feel free to PM me. We could go the other way round, if you prefer to start at Exeter, lets see who wants to attend first.

I won't mess about with a list this time, just post up if your attending or not
Cheers
Giles

So far we have the following people bravely volunteering

Giles - Mitsugypsy
Graham - Skud missile
Dave - Beetle
John - Mhairdresser
Lee - 118d
Neil - Green Goblin

A couple more may join the list Fri/Sat

As Lee, Neil, Graham & John are all closer to Plymouth, we will start at Tamar bridge & go clockwise. Times etc to follow

Poo.

I'll be in Exeter Sunday am, driving down to Plymouth for the evening frown

The GS needs a run out as it hasn't moved for 3 weeks (took the Carina to Cadwell last week, which was amusing) so if you give a hint as to when and hwere you're having lunch I'll try and head cross country and join you for the afternoon.

This sounds GOOD, Giles. I LUV the roads in the Holsworthy area.
The A3072 from Bude right across to Hatherleigh & on to Copplestone
is EXCELLENT !! Plus I should actually make this drive !
Your choice of Route 38 as a breakie venue makes a nice change.
Recently I went to the Wilton House Classic & Supercar Day
(for the 4th year!). I had a brilliant day, taking 248 pics !
So im getting my P/Heads life back, again !! driving

I reckon we will be back around Exeter by lunchtime ! Sure you cant come out earlier, you'd be back in Exeter by 13.30.

I'll check, but Sunday is our one day together, and starting it by getting up at 07:00 to go and play is, erm, generally frowned upon, especially as apparently we're out on Sat night.

I used a lot of brownie points last weekend dragging her to Cadwell to watch me go around in circles for 2 days and get overtaken by Guy Martin.
