tends to divide opinions this car but I absolutely love it. amazing drive and is so quick. more pace than the old Bathurst without doubt. obviously taking it a little easy running in for the first few miles but in a couple months will be on full display at a meet no doubt smile The driver comforts are welcome too. even gone granddad auto and its such a good box I cant see myself venturing back into a manual. the day to day stuff is done with great economy and comfort yet switch it over to sport and manual shift and the gear changes and acceleration becomes much more brutal and the way it shifts reminds me very much of the McLaren mp4. just not quite so fast hehe
it was essential I cut costs and after looking at a Nissan gt-r in a moment of madness my sane head came back and I settled on a focus st or clio 200. then with a deal that made this car cheaper over term than either of them made man maths buy the car.
overall very pleased and after putting up with drawing huge crowds and attention for over a year and a half it is actually quite nice to blend in a bit. and the faces when it rockets past of pure confusion make me chuckle too smile

I couldn't find a better car. There are few cars that can give these low running costs and such great performance.

With my..... Casual wink driving In getting a 25 mpg average. I have not used eco pro and spend most my time in sport. Testing the performance and still early doors. Very pleased with 25 though huge improvement. smile

Should get better MPG once its got a few miles under its belt as well.

Itll be interesting to see what sort of MPG it gets comparative when on a PH run.

Youre probably saving 3-4mpg by not burning gallons in the exhaust. Pop Pop.

I'll remap when the power starts to feel normal. Not keen to invalidate the warranty so maybe a piggyback device. I think I will still see good mpg on a ph run. We will soon see. Its pace is amazing. I love hot hatches on these roads but they all started to feel a little slow but now the hot hatch game seems to have grown to a new level. Btw this pops and burbles too biggrin just not as violent frown

laugh yeah I think so. You were in prime position. I gave it a couple blasts on the accelerator. Interesting to see how it fared behind the evo and I was quite pleased. Can't wait to test its capabilities when a few miles are on the clock.
