chinese restaurant near Bristol ?
Discussion
A friend of mine, who ate a lot and well, used to swear by the Chinese in Thornbury. I went with him once and had an excellent meal there. I'm afraid I can't recall it's name now, and as he sadly died last year I can't even ask him It was in the centre of town so maybe someone else here will know it?

Fancy a Chinese meal , tried Junior poons a few times, nice I want for something different, can't be bothered with parking in around Bristol at all.
any suggestions please ?
Bristol's not good for chinese food, since the China Palace on Baldwin St closed years ago. I make the trek out to Junior Poons when the urge takes me.any suggestions please ?
If you're feeling adventurous try Fung's Chinese Cafe on Gloucester Road - up the top on the left. Been going there for years, but not recently.

I've had the one above the Chinese supermarket (behind IKEA) recommended a few times but have yet to try it.
Its OK, its all you can eat for £16.75 (or it was)... you order off the menu and they only bring enough for one serving, but you can order as many time as you like. The food is OK and have had a lot worse. Theri Dim sum menu is good.If you go arrange it so you are there when the "Entertainment" is on...so bad its good.
Clifton's http://www.emperorcourtrestaurant.co.uk is pretty good...
