Because I was the cock in the Chimaera.
Coming out of B&Q car park today, road busy in both directions and I wanted to turn right.
A chap coming from my left stopped to let me out but the traffic on the right was still busy. I waited a bit.
A small gap opened so I nailed it as I left the car park (as I would in my auto 520d). Back end swing way out but I couldn't lift as that can result in a spin. It was beautifully balanced (the car has the credit there as I have a heavy foot) and could be easily held. Swift change up to second, back end swinging the other way now, finally she straightens and I'm off.
Apologies Stroud. It's not big and not clever (seriously) but for that slight moment, I enjoyed it.
(It was a 30 limit so it was a bloody stupid thing to do and I really did not mean to).
