Vagcom exeter needed to get rid of airbag light!
Discussion
Hi all,
I have a seat altea xl 170. The airbag light has been on for about a month. It has its mot on Saturday and didn't think it would fail on this, however, after reading another thread I now know it will.
Can anyone help with turning the light off. I Live in dawlish, I will obviously come to you locally, exeter area etc
Some beers for help
Call me on 07584311239
Thanks,
Rich

Oh, and another thing, I can ONLY diagnose what is causing the light to be on. If you've knocked something (classic one is usually the wife's handbag knocking the connector for the side airbag under the passenger seat) then it will need fixing before the light can go out. Do you recall what might have set it off in the first place?

anychance of you connecting your Vagcom up to my car as its missfiring on the odd occasion and AA can't find an issue?/
Yeah - Did I ever get rid of airbag light for you? I forget. PS: misfires don't always bring up the reason for the misfire, but it does usually tell you which cylinder it is seeing the misfire in, which might help.
