Bovey castle - stumbled upon a car rally

I'm at bovey castle today in the Evo and upon arrival I have been swamped by 911's e-types and aston,s . About 25 cars and Aston Martin are here giving rides on the moor. Some lovely cars like an ac ace and a cobra too.
My noisy Evo felt like it was out of place, still the fastest thing here tho
The rally is called the surf n turf rally. Apparently it's an annual thing

My timing is obviously off. Cracking day for a drive yesterday, had the MR out ready to go , when the lad pipes up he fancies a surf, so naturualy took the Mazda and went surfing. Then had to have a quick morning run, up to Morton Hampstead and back this morning, to make up for missing out on the sun shine yesterday.

This was my work doing its annual car run from Stratford (I think) back to Cornwall, I will post some pictures up if you like. It's a mix of clients, yacht designers etc.

It was Stratford upon Avon, they started there then linked up with Aston Martin at Gaydon for test drives etc (they sponsor our yacht race) and then headed down to Kernow.

I'm a bit patchy on the details as I was working in Antibes that week and now sitting at home for a few days after a minor op. Once the marketing girls release the photos I will put some up.
