tormarten M4 traffic survey

Quick line to the idiots parked on the M4 bridge at tormarten tonight at 630 sporting "traffic survey" viz vests.

Please park sensibly. Your cars were parked on the bridge at the brow of a hill on a reasonably fast rural road. A few yards back a huge area off the side of the road of empty tarmac?? wtf?

Keep parking like that and you need to get "accident survey" viz vests.

I spotted that on my journeys to and from work today. There seemed to be a good deal of congestion they were causing (from my limited view on the M4).

And they do this quite frequently. What's the reason?

I have no idea what the survey details being obtained were. There were several of them focusing on the M4 west heading traffic. The parking was disgraceful to put it politely.
