Marcos Display - Clevedon 14/04/2013

A quick heads-up that there is a Marcos display on the Salthouse Fields, Clevedon on Sunday 14th April. I believe it starts about 1030 and is on for most of the day.

I understand that Jem Marsh has retired to Clevedon.

For those who don't know Clevedon, Salthouse Fields are on the seafront - loads of parking nearby, big pay & display car park but also plenty of street parking. Plenty of pub food within a stone's (pebble's?) throw, but those searching for a decent pint should head towards the pier and seek out the Royal Oak (on Copse Road) - it's in the Good Beer Guide.


Disclaimer! I'm nothing to do with the organisation of the event - I heard about it in the local media, so assume it is still going ahead. Don't blame me if it turns out to be a damp squib - Clevedon is a fine destination for a Sunday drive anyway!

A little bump for this. If the weather's good I'm going to pop down with my kids after going to Queen Square earlier.

Shame - I would have loved to go to this as I lust after a Marcos (just not enough seats...).

On the plus side, after Queen Square, myself plus OberGruppenfuhrer and Captain Smalltrousers are heading off to play with Steam Trains, which I also enjoy (and am not ashamed to admit)!!

Hopefully the sun will shine for us all on such a "boy-focussed" day!!

I have just noticed this topic and the event will be going ahead from 11am.

We will be celebrating Jem Marsh's birthday and we will hopefully have 30 plus Marcos in attendance.
