This event is running at Castle Combe on Saturday. Should be a good event and an opportunity to support some local mortoring clubs.

Is anyone planning to go and if so, perhaps a meet in Bristol could be good before making our way over to the circuit?

I am informed entry is free and there looks to be a good mix of cars entering.

If anyone is keen, how about meeting by the viewpoint on The Downs at 10am before heading over.

Let me know,

Ed

I'm going. You'll find me on the entry list. Spectating is indeed free, as is paddock access. The fastest cars are using ex-F1 engines and are properly rapid - it's the first round of the British Sprint Championship. Hopefully, the weather will be better than the snow at Mallory on Sunday!

If anyone fancies marshalling, you don't need any experience and you'll get a free lunch, a trackside seat and a radio to hear what's going on. More details on who to contact about marshalling on the website.

I wil probably pop along at some point in the day - provided its not too wet. Any tips on a good time to come for the best spectating?

Cheers

Me and my dad took a trip up, first time at Combe and it was freezing!

We arrived a bit late (after 11) and after standing around for a while we decided to give up get food and come back after lunch.

It started warming up after 1 o'clock or so and there were a few nice bits of machinery there. Definitely a good free day out although sorry no pics

There's pics of practice at SBKmotorsport.com and the club is posting links to photos on Twitter and Facebook. I expect links will appear on the website with the results soon enough and there will be a full report in the next club magazine. There's a report on the HSA website and probably loads more too.
