British Sprint Championship at Castle Combe Sat 23rd March

Anyone going? F1 engined single-seaters doing 180mph up Avon Rise as well as a bunch of cars from roadgoing through to sports racers. You can get a free lunch and a spot right by the track if you marshal and you don't need any qualifications to marshal; just enthusiasm.

At least it's not an automatic! On the down side, my engine wouldn't run last night. Slightly worried as it's never failed to start before...

Hi,
I marshalled at this event. Was bloomin cold but 5 layers helped. This was my second time so I must have enjoyed the sun last year.

Was a great event and some bonkers machinery - from Audi Quattro to Jedi to turbo'd mx5 to Evos.

Would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get close to the action.

Now I am off to register for my Sprint license so i can have a go myself...
