SWPH Saturday 23rd March - Smeatharpe Drag & Drift
Discussion
Ladies & Gents
Smeatharpe Drag & Drift is back, so I am suggesting an SWPH meet, having breakfast around Exeter at 9.00 and then making our way via a non-direct route to Smeatharpe airfield to watch some drag action and drifting.
I went to the last one, got there too early, so the idea of a drive and breakfast bap on the way should work well to see the best of the action around 10.30am onwards.
I beleive its still £10 to get in as a spectator.
Anyone fancy it ? Sign up below

Dave - I used to live just a few miles away from Santa Pod,in Wellingborough, that said spent more time at Silverstone back then when F1 and Touring cars were at their best and you could get in to an event for less than £300Actually im having Mothers day lunch at Whittlebury hall today, nextdoor to Silverstone.Doubt there is anything on today tho.

I drove past the Smeatharp runway yesterday and notice there were some rather large piles of road stone which look like they are blocking a return drive from the end of the 1/4 mile strip. I’m sure they know about it but I mailed them about it anyway just in case. Is it just me being a nosey bugger?
I reckon i'm shutting this thread down.
Very little interest in a pre-drag drive.
So I may still go to Drag & Drift but I will go direct and see you there.
Also Jap-Riders have a meet on the Sunday & I cant do both, havnt decided yet.
The Mitsubishi Evo owners club are meeting at Smeatharpe too, so i may meet with them.
Cheers guys. im out.
