Hi all,

We're thinking of buying a house out in Abbots Leigh, and if we do it will need what is effectively a large loft / dormer conversion to create a ~100 m2 master/ensuite/dressing room space. The work would well exceed the 50 m3 permitted development limit and so would need planning etc. Has anyone got any recommendations for builders or loft conversion firms who might be good for this. Ditto for architect, which may be required. My partner is an interior designer by training and profession, so we are looking for quality rather than the very cheapest quote. If it's not done well she'll notice!

Cheers smile

we did some significant amounts of work to our house in Leigh Woods using a local architect and local builders. If you PM me I can let you know my thoughts both good and bad.

I can also adivise you that every mistake from every episode of every seies of Grand Designs is easy to forget and easier to make....

My brother in law has just started up on his own and is just finishing building 3 Passivhaus houses and a small block of flats in St. Werburghs.

Website is; www.naturaldesignandbuild.com

He did a loft conversion with dorma before he started on the houses.
