Hi chaps

I seem to be in a bit of bother with my locking wheel nuts. When I had my tyres replaced, that garage has obviously done them up FAR too tight (fking idiots) and now two of them have started to round off.

So I am wondering if anyone knows of a good place to get them removed in or around Bath?

Thanks very much
P.B

Pop into a local tyre place and ask them if they can undo them with their air ratchet.

I had the same problem, and the way I got around was to find the nearest size socket, slightly smaller than the locking nut, hammering the socket on, then using the wrench, with an extension bar or tubing over the wrench, this increasing the torque, so less leverage required to turn the nut. I still use this method, works every time.

Cheers for the advice chaps. But I did try this method earlier and the head of the locking wheel nut sheared off.

I honestly can't believe this happened. Every time I take off my locking wheel nuts prior to getting the tyres changed and this happens the one time that I didn't.
