I can see the issue being the shipping of fuel (using a courier or whatever) is going to be tricky given the nature of the shipment.

Someone will probably spot this gap in the market and offer a service on the island, probably involving a private tanker being sent to the UK to fill up, and bring 99RON back to Jersey.

I doubt the ferry would let you take it over without a tanker that's approved and licences. I think you need another solution.
Why not just order cases or octane booster and add it to each tank. Vpower is only an additive

Unless you've worked out an shipping deal with the ferry company, this might be a non-starter
Condor seem to indicate they might just allow it on their website (section 23)

Would have thought any fuel supplier who can buy vmax should be able to help - diesel can bought and delivered in gallon drums - I assume petrol/kerosene too
Ideally one close to the ferry port

As LancerG has said though, additive would be alot less hassle

ps

Find out who supplies Jersey Fuel and see if they might be willing to ship smaller amounts/side order

v-power is refined to a higher grade unlike most of the shoddy premium unleadeds out there. :cough: bp. whats the issue with regular anyway? its only a placebo.

Given the amount of supercars on the island (I remember them being everywhere on my last holiday there....) I am very surprised at the withdrawal of premium fuel.

Hmm, where there are rich owners a way will be found.

I keep thinking to the Simpsons episode where Homer brewed moonshine in bathtubs and sneaked them into Moes using bowling balls. How much 99RON can you get in a bowling ball? biggrin
