New Student Here

Hi, the names Matt, I'm a student studying Photography at Bath Spa, but come from Weymouth, so I'm a solid South Westerner I've been active on car specific forums, but the lack of variety started to become a bit monotonous, and I spend a lot of time in the classifieds dreaming, so thought I'd sign up!

Now, I'm only young, so I drive the sort of car someone my age would, and I'm in to the sort of stuff you'd expect, and my car is modified, might not be to everyones taste.



It's a 2000 Fiesta Zetec S, here's a quick list of whats been done;

Had a Ford replacement engine fitted in 2003 by Ford, so is a Phase 2 Blacktop
Polybushed Gearbox Mount

Suspension/Handling -
GAZ GHAs
7" Front Springs 225lbs
DIY Adjustable Lower Arms
Full Polybush - Mix of FloFlex and Powerflex
5mm wheel spacers
12.5mm axle spacers on rear

Brakes -
ST150 Front Brake Setup
OEM Discs, Mintex 1144 Pads
Braided Front Lines

Wheels/Tyres -
Standard Phase 1 15" Alloys painted Ford Purple Velvet
Phase 2 Centre Caps - To be painted
195/50/15 Toyo T1Rs

Interior -
Escort RST front seats
Puma Gearknob
Clarion SD/BT headunit
JBL 10" Sub

Got some more plans but want to get out on track days a few times this year, did RS Combe last year and I've got the bug!

2 wheels is where I started, I've got a full bike license and did a full nut and bolt rebuild on a CB600 Hornet



It's got a custom dual exhaust system, and is still waiting for the paint to be done, It's filler primer there!

Wind that Fiesta up off the floor, get a mate who can read maps and join Bath Motor Club. The winter 12 car rally championship they run is, er....lively!

I suspect that Fiesta is a lot off fun, look out for the Action days at Castle Combe , also there should be a Queen Square meet in Bristol Sunday , always some great cars there and some keen photographers

hi matt, get your self along to one of the avenue drivers club meets in queen square in bristol on the 2nd sunday of each month 9am untill 11.30ish make sure you bring your camera

Worth going to the ADC next Sunday if you want some cars to drool over - possibly some nice photo opportunities .

I don't know who else is coming from Bath or the nearby area... Maybe a mini convoy?

Hmm, interesting, like access to a runway/hanger kind of area? Might have to take you up on that some time... Sure I could fit a few shots in of your car too

Hangar and jets but not the runway I'm afraid. If I still had the AMG I'd take you up on the offer of a few pics of my car but the A4 isn't quite the same!

I realised the runway was a ridiculous idea after I suggested it.

I've got a Focus RS Mk2 to shoot, was thinking of doing it at Castle Combe but maybe a hanger with some jets in would be even better. Any chance you could get a few snaps of the space? Does sound like an opportunity not to be missed!
