It's a nice part of the world for going for a blast around
But like you've discovered, when it's nice weather there, it's stunning, but when it's bad, it's flippin ste

I mentioned a BB hoon in the end of world thread.
Of the last 10 years, a family trip through the Brecons was of my most memorable. I'd love to do it as a hoon in the MX-5, or even the MINI.

I Spend a lot of time in Wales, some amazing roads and places to visit, the trout inn in Beulah mid wales is very good for a base if going over a weekend.

Most of my time is on the bike than in the kit car, much more fun and the reason why I won't be back over there in the bike until Spring

Now the Alfa is properly sorted I plan to make a trip into deepest darkest Wales at some point... It will have to wait a bit, but I would be up for a blast at some point at the end of January, and will put up a thread closer to the time. I'm sure some of you banditsnice people would be happy to be burdened with the duty of tour guide... biggrin

Some fantastic roads around there. My favourite journey was last summer going from Swansea to Brecon. Beat the predicted time by some margin and it was one of those drives where every overtake fell at the right moment and everything was just so. I have family that way so might be up for some hobo age.
