I need a hands-free kit fitted.

Anyone with experience of Sextons Swindon for that?

Thanks in anticipation.

They fitted my radio for me last year, quick and well priced. Even charged me less than they quoted as I'd done some of the investigation of wires for the satnav. Fixed the minor issue they caused as well no fuss and foc.
However they aren't now where they were on the Manchester Rd which is odd as the website is still up and running but they definitely aren't at the premises where google maps and streetview has them. Are they still in business?

I tried to contact them last year and after an hour gave up, i think they are closed but still have a phone presence, but no actual unit anymore. Try Gloucester, they were very good.

They are still on the Bristol Road in Gloucester. Not heard anything bad about them so might be worth giving them a call.

I'm after one as I've just changes the motor. I've decided to go for the parrot MKi9200 and as horrible as it sounds the best deal I can find at the moment is Halfrauds... £180 / fitted.

You after a stand alone device or a new head unit with hands free?

Looking for a stand alone option. Ideally I wanted to go in somewhere and take some advice. I have some time off over the Christmas period and so will look to see what's about.

They were excellent. I used the Trowbridge branch when I needed anything audio related. Unfortunately closed now. Real shame as they were very knowledgeable.

The Swindon one is now a discount motorbike shop. May as well try halfords. They probably install more of these things than anyone else.

The parrot is standalone and also allows you to play MP3s etc via a stick into your head unit if you don't have aux in. it will also allow you to play music via Bluetooth from an I-phone etc

I am seeing what happens after Christmas as they tend to offer free fitting.

Did you find anywhere? I want a DAB for the car, but a brief foray into Halfords for advice just gave me the instruction to look at their online store as it's cheaper.

I'd advise against it. My neighbour's missus had some stuff installed by them. Speaker wires danging near brake pedal + zip tied to single wires. Sub power cable was zip tied to the drivers seatbelt runner(!!!). Head unit wasn't put in properly and drooped about. speaker cable going into door was just forced between the rubber conduit's plastic connector and the door's metal causing it to rub through and ground out.

Bloody mess, absolutely atrocious. She got all her money back.
