Why The fk have the south glos council shut this road and changed it into a bus lane only, if your coming from Stoke Lodge now in the mornings your stuck well in traffic what ever way you go, what are they thinking its been a direct route through to either the Mall or beyond never been any hassle before, all this is going to do is send all the traffic up through Coniston road which will cause its own problems to the local residents. This no doubt will effect a lot of people and i`m one of them(Rant over for now).

Think the idea is that in time you will have to use the new link road that comes off the A38 by kwik fit ?

Yes your probably right thats if you can get on the new link road, as the roads that approach it ie gypsy patch and the A38 are usually chocablock in the mornings.
