Castle Coombe Autumn Classic.

This Saturday, the 6th October,Castle Coombe are holding their "Autumn Classic" race meeting. There will be 4 hours of Historic racing.
Everything from the pre-war era up to the 70's. Including Jags, Healeys & A/Martins etc. As im going , I wondered if anyone would like to join me.

I shall be there in the yellow gti( with a for sale sign on it), normally park up on the back straight before camp corner .

What a great days racing !! I zapped up to C/Coombe after working, hardly any traffic, thankfully !! I arrived just in time for the Aston Martin race (1st race). The Austin Healey race was a highlight for me. Superb sound &
full drift cornering action!!
There was a ALMIGHTY crash in the Bernie's V-8 race. Bernie's own Corvette 5.7 litre went straight on at Camp corner into the tyre wall !! Completely destroying the front & n/side of the car.
He just got out of the car where the door & wing used to be !!
Then just walked away.
