Garage floor ideas please
Discussion
Hi folks
Been off line for a while as I moved house back in August and didnt movce into the new gaff until 2 weeks later!
Im having some work done on the new place to convert a room back into a garage. The room has wooden flooring (and is fully decorated which will make it one good looking garage ) but Im thinking that I could do with some rubber matting to drive onto i.e. lay two strips of matting to act as tracks. This should help the life of the floor plus be better if wet, in terms of anti-slippage.
Has anyone else layed rubber matting in their garage? If so any recommendations?

obilo - One year on... how did you get on with the tiles? I'm thinking of ordering some...
Yes...good.I have mine on a wooden floor (as it was a room converted back to a garage) so I have just put a small screw at each end of the run, through the mat and into the floor to keep them in place. You may/may not need to do this if placed on a solid floor or indeed if you 'paved' the whole garage.
They are doing exactly what I want tbh...easily wide enough to drive up without missing (so to speak) or falling off them; they keep the dirty tyres off the wooden floor; they feel 'safe' in terms of grip; easy to lay and to keep clean.
Job jobbed really
