Took my M3 into Lee this morning after an aborted start yesterday due to loss of power on the whole estate!

Great stuff, everything checked and 4 wheel alignment carried out for a very reasonable £50. Very well recommended.

I was ever-so-slightly annoyed to see that the bolt on the front suspension was completely seized solid, almost like it had been seized for a year or so.

I won't mention the name of the Professional Tyrefitters, however I was stung for £150 in March for having all of the alignment done (Since it was a BMW). Funny how the front suspension was seized solid... And how actually you can't adjust many settings on the front anyway.

Be warned.

I took my Aston V8V to Lee on the weekend to have my geometry checked out/tweaked. Very happy with the price and service, highly recommended by me.

Great guys, I use them for mapping and servicing more than alignment - always a good service and value.

Maybe i'd better get them to look at alignment too, when i go in in September.

Not necessary. Wheels on rally cars never point in the same direction!!

I've used FCM a couple of times for X5 and they have always been able to sort whatever issue I turn up with and generally at a fraction of the cost other places. Unlike other more "Professional Tyre" places FCM will take the time to look into the issue and rather than just saying you new to buy loads of new replacement parts. I definitely recommend using Lee at FCM.

Am in Bristol for a few hours next Monday, so going to see if they can fit my E30 in for alignment etc? Had been looking for somewhere down here in Cornwall but this sounds ideal.

By coincidence I used FCM Wheel Alignment the week before last at the recommendation of Piston Heads.

Absolutely top guy, I was tempted to create a new thread just to sing his praises but thought that was a little keen!

I was invited to stay in the workshop the entire time and spent best part of an hour there. All for £85. Miles better than your usual garage places with little training and no experience.

Looks like I'm taking my M3 there on Monday, whilst my Mrs is in a meeting. It'll be the first opportunity I've had to have things properly set-up since fitting KW V2's, so looking forward to it.

Lee sorted out the alignment on a Merc ML for me last year. Fitted the car in at short notice and did a great job. Clearly knows exactly what he's doing.

Attended FCM and met Lee this morning. Very helpful and extremely competent. Came away very happy and with my M3 all the better for the visit. Would certainly recommend to other people.

I think Lee charges something like £20 per adjustment (front, rear - camber, toe etc.) I have always paid him somewhere between £40 and £80 (the latter being after fitting all new suspension to a 911 a few years ago).

Yep, that was it. £20 per adjustment.
