I have just managed to sign up, only a few spaces left. Not sure about a convoy yet as am not sure what else I have on that weekend. Will get back nearer the time.

At what time? Which route would you take from Cribbs to Silverstone!

From Gloucester I would go M5, M40 & then down the A43 to the circuit. Would have to be fairly early I think due to the weekend being, potentially, very very busy.

Quickest route from Bristol is M4, - A420 - A34 - M40 then A43 to 'stone.

I shall be going to this and will be travelling from Bristol. I will be in my car (Boxster) and my dad will be in his Bentley - if he is definitely able to make it. May be able to meet at Cribbs if it's not too early.

The later you leave it the longer it will take to get into Silverstone which, as we all know, takes ages anyway!!

I aim to be leaving home no later than 6.15am meaning that I should be within sight of the circuit by 8am at the latest. That at least should ensure that I get in fairly quickly.

Any later & I will probably spend hours sitting on the A43 which is not something that I want to do if I can avoid it.
