EDIT: Party* - for the spelling police.

Hi Guys,

I'm getting a bit fed up with google so i thought i'd try the fount of all knowledge that is pistonheads!

I'm looking a for a party venue for my 25th. I have in mind either hiring a club out which is the fairly straight forward option or, being a bit more creative i'd really like to hold a kind of house party theme'd event at a nice house with a swimming pool etc (indoor's as it will be in feb!).

Need's to be in or around bristol as i'm planning to invite a large number of guests and they wont want to travel far.

So, anyone have any unique idea's? or want to lend me their house for a weekend biggrin

Ryan

Some else has shown me the castle. I'm not sure it's the right kind of location though.

The house looks good but at 66miles i think i would struggle to get the numbers i'm looking for there.

I'd like to see a minimum of 100 people.

This place is amazing but again too far away: http://www.wordenhouse.co.uk

The castle is fabulous, some friends held their wedding there over a few days.

There is a decent big room for the dancefloor, we had the bar in another, the pool was used, the views from the "battlements" are immense, there's a pool table etc, plenty of space to mooch about and be as involved as you want.

Overall it was fantastic smile

Ive got outside catering and a bar booked, 6 bands and about 200 people coming. ive also hired a 16 seater minibus to shuttle people back to hotels and B&Bs etc.

As above itt has a pool, big room for bands and pool/table football. go and have a look.

I must admit, i hadn't realised there was actually a pool there. It could have more potential that i initally gave it!

Margarita who owns it is reknowned for some of the best parties of all time, she is also great at upsetting the neighbours. Shes an ex record company owner and knows lots of famous people. Shes probably forgotten more than I would ever hope to know about how to host a party.

shes also a bit barmy, in a nice way.
