Any local PH meets to Yeovil area?

No, never done anything like that before. Was hoping something was already setup, pretty sure they used to have one? I remember being invited once when I had my last Escort.
I do not have the time to arrange something like this though due to a young family and too many hours at work but would certainly turn up for a drive and a chat

Bit late notice for me for today. Car is filthy and it is wet Would be keen to do some coastal routes when the Olympics has left Weymouth. Would be nice to see others cars as well, get bored of just seeing the same brands at ford shows etc. Would be good to talk to owners as well and see the running costs and issues along the way etc

This could be the start of something good. I have been looking for something like this for a while. As a Sporting Bear and the South West rep I am always on the look out to organise events and this regular meet could be a good place to form a solid group that would be interested. There is the Avenue Drivers Club every 1st Sunday of the month we could all convoy to other that be good to share ideas

Right, there seems to be enough interest for this to happen so let's just throw it out there and see what happens!
What about Sunday 26th August OR 2nd Sept?
Start 0930 near Yeovil (TBC), use Juddy's route to Shaftesbury, then to Zig-Zag hill and then the high road to Blandford. From there head down to Corfe Castle then along the coast to Weymouth, along the sea front and finally down to Portland Bill for a lunch stop/picnic?
All up thats about 90 miles so should take a good couple of hours and takes in some spot on views and roads. Any Takers?
