Elise Friendly Bodyshops in South West
Discussion
Heading home from work at about 2 O'Clock this morning I was just enjoying the run through a nice right-left-right combo when a fox appeared through the hedge at high speed and made like an Exocet for my front end. I braked hard, avoiding the temptation to swerve, and struck the fox with the front right corner.
Clearly the fox came off worst but I now have a soft area just to the right of the grille and below the light cluster with a myriad of fine radial cracks, I also have three cracks through the fibreglass terminating at the wheel arch. There is nothing flapping and the car is driveable.
So, any suggestions for bodywork repairs? I'm going to head up to see Mark Skinner in Helston but word is that he's sold up so some alternatives would be appreciated. I am located Helston/Falmouth area but happy to travel if the workmanship warrants it.
I'll probably remove the clam and sort rad and fan, tow post etc whilst the repair is being done.
Thanks.
