Martin (Carsarecool) can I say a big thank you for putting this trip together, having organised Le Mans trips before for people I know what goes into it and you pulled off a blinder - everything was spot on, a quality weekend, a good laugh and quality company!!

As already said, thank you Martin smile
We had a good mix of cars, and a broad range of back grounds in the group. You'll have to let me know with regards to your plans for next year old boy, as Im thinking of returning to the 24hr just one more time.

Well Giles, epic drive down in the sunshine after a very easy smooth crossing. Had a few stops, the campsite was spot on. Close to the toilets which helps for the old folk like Mike wink The paddock pass was a school boys wet dream. Everywhere you looked there was serious metal. Had a few drives out, lots of people asking questions about the cars and taking photos. Found a great viewing point after a drunken wheel barrow race (we were getting board waiting for the next race so though we should have our own) This was after a bet that someone couldn't jump the fence, cross the track, touch the arm cove and back again also while we were waiting for the start. Did we do it, can't say wink did someone crash their one-of-a-kind V12 fezza, almost killing both onboard and making a bit of a tit of himself, can't say. Did we all get very very drunk.......O yes. Did we all have a great laugh.......O yes. Did I get pulled while driving between Martin and Graham doing the same speed, get fleeced for 90 euros and then try to ask the officer how he caught me while I'm following the speed of the traffic???.......Yep!!!!! Did Giles miss a fantastic legendary trip.....O yes smile O yes indeed biggrin

To Martin, big thanks for making it all happen thumbup top bloke

Last post from me tonight.

Thanks to everyone for coming.

Mike isn't on this forum but what that guy did yesterday truly sums up the phrase 'Top Man'

You meet very few people in your life with such conviction, humility, understanding, and welcome into their life and family.

He is one in a million.

Thanks to Lee and Dan, a credit to their Mum and Dad. Great lads and friends of our family forever.

Anyways, glad everyone got back safe and sound.

Le Mans Classic 2012. In our memories forever biggrin

I really think Martin and Graham should publicly apologise for bullying you into doing the same speed as them hehe

Your dead right Stu, but as Martin said "well Paul, you will drive these shouty look-at-me cars" This from a GT3 driver and a TVR T350 with extra Db hehe
