I need some for the back of my new car. Currently running 225/40/18ZR rated. Looking to up this to deal with the power to 235/40/18ZR.

Its going on a 8 1/2 inch wide wheel on the back.

I currently have Toyo Proxy T1R's and they seem fine, grips well enough etc. I have had a quick look around and it seems to be the best part of £200 a corner which seems alot. Never paid that much for my M3 and that was a 245 on the back?

I have looked on Black circles and kwik fit so far, will try all my locals as well.. Anyone know of others please? I am in Somerset BA21 so any of you local guys know anything?

thanks

Mark

Perhaps 235/40/18 is an uncommon size. They usally command a bit of a premium. Cant you use 245/35/18? Might be cheaper. Have you looked on places like Etyres and mytyres or Ebay for a price comparison? Tyres have increased in price quite a bit in recent months aswell.

I've dealt with Quedam tyres before - seemed good at the time.

topgear in bridport did a good deal on my toyo r1r's, might be worth a call or see what they are selling them for on ebay and they will match the price and do free fitting. might be a pain getting there now as the tunnel is closed.

edit just found them on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyo-Proxes-T1-Sport-235...

Hi Guys, managed to find them online for £115 delivered. I got a mate who will fit for £10 a wheel. I am still on the look for cheaper though if anyone can beat that?

Not in Yeovil but near, philips tyres in castle cary or Shepton mallet tend to be quite good.

I have used tyres 2 u on our 330i, very good guys but cannot match the price I have found.

Castle Carry one etc by the time you have added fuel to get there and back will be more than I have found as well frown Not sure I am going to beat what I have found.

Thanks.

£5 is fair enough,is that just on wheel off car [inc. balance] or did they actually fit them on car for that as well?

Do they do nitrogen as well or just air inflation?

Get the tyres from camskill.co.uk

Quickfit will fit them for £10-20 in cash if you turn up and ask nice.

Seconded - I've used Philips exclusively for years. Nigel is about to launch a tyre shaving/buffing service, too...
