Had this a few weeks now and thought I'd share:
And a pic at Sidmouth a couple of weeks ago:
I'm keeping the Supra for now - still love this car:
Had it 7 years now and can't imagine not having it around. It's a different driving experience to the 360 and 70 hp down but considering it's 10 years older it holds up pretty well I think even with a Ferrari to compare it to. The 360 gets a lot more attention though.
Anyone else get really attached to their cars or regret selling one in the past?

very nice, I like lots!!!!
Thanks Paul! As you know we were originally looking for a red Noble 3R - one came up at Mole Valley cars a while back and we went to see it but whilst it looked amazing and would have been quicker than the 360 it didn't really suit us for the interior and luggage space. Needed a car to cruise in as well as hoon in. Also, the running costs weren't that much cheaper either according to the salesman. I'd always been prejudiced against Ferrari's thinking they were over rated but the wife persuaded me to try one and I think I 'got it' whatever 'it' is with these cars.

Its the sound track and looks like a sports car should. Friend had a silver spider 360, the noise from that car was fantastic, enjoy. Look forward to catching up on the next meet, then over-taking you wessexrfc said:

It does sound great at WOT but a bit tame lower down as it's still got the standard exhaust with the valves that open above 3000 revs or something. May change that at some point. You're welcome to overtake - love seeing the Noble like that! I don't count myself as much of a racer anyway - not competitive enough. Did enjoy a little play with a Motorbike on Saturday though.

There will be a fuse controling the valve - pull the fuse out & you should get permanently open exhaustThanks for all the positive replies!
I hope to get to a meet soon but can't normally do Sunday Mornings so that limits it a bit.
It was bought to be driven and not become a garage queen but at the same time it's not a daily driver so gets out once or twice a week.
Le mans looks interesting - not thought of it before. Can't do this year as no passport but maybe next year?

Black leather = check!
Rear challenge grill = check!
Manual = check!
Congrats!
That's a good list. For us the shopping list was rosso corsa red with a challenge grills front and rear, black leather and Scuderia wing shield badges. I wasn't too concerned about the transmission at the time but I'm soo glad it's a manual now - love the metallic clicks when you're changing gear; less to go wrong too.Black leather = check!

Congrats!
As a bonus it also had red piping and stitching, Xenons, red calipers and the optional leather covered roll bar. Recent clutch and low mileage @ 22k which, along with being a later 2003 model, all adds up to a good buy as long as we don't get any nasty surprises at service time.
I was going through the options list the other day and it is the exact spec I would have chosen if buying the car new so well pleased. It has about £5300 worth of factory upgrades.
I bought it privately near Manchester (advertised on here) so it was a quite a trek to see it and fetch it. It was only the third one we'd seen and the first manual but it was at a good price and too good to let go so we shook on it then and there subject to a professional ppi.
We were lucky that he took a liking to us as he told us afterwards that he had two other people offer more than it was advertised for afterwards (up to £1700 more than I paid) but he refused saying "some people don't understand it's about more than money" and said he knew it would be going to someone who'd look after it and had passion for it. This was before he'd even received my deposit!

If I'm not mistaken that's the 360 we looked at first which was on SOR nr Bath. CS stripes on a normal 360. Had a great sounding exhaust on it which sounded great in that tunnel. Love the throaty TVR too!yorkieboy said:
