So I mainly seem to use the Fekker (2007 MINI Cooper S with "FEK" on the numberplate) on motorways and around town frown

I need to find some proper driving roads within easy reach so I can actually enjoy the P-Zero tyres and JCW suspension upgrade...

Answers on a postcard...

Try the Mendips, not sure what good driving roads you will find around Bristol. By-pass busy, around town busy. get out of the town and
onto some quieter roads.

Mendips, Wiltshire, are not far and have some great roads.

Or even better book a track day to make the most of the car. without having the BIB taking notice

Get over the Severn bridge and do it properly. I'm Bristol too and the Welsh roads blow ours into the water. Think I've been over 4 times in the last 2 months. Failing that the B4040 isn't bad, the A368 is worth a go. If you're looking for a quick blat, Belmont Hill and Portbury Lane would be a good in the Mini.

My local route:
Take the A370 out of town towards Long Ashton then take the B3128 up towards Failand, have a play on Belmont Hill and Portbury Lane

Alternatively, get up early and straight up Cheddar Gorge
