I'd like some DIY help from a PHer (as I suspect it's too small for a joiner). I need to fit an intumescent strip around the edge of a new door so I need to use a router to create a slot. I'm not too confident in being able to do it myself so I'm wondering if there is somebody local in Bristol that wouldn't mind running their router around my door in exchange for a couple of beers/cold hard cash.

I can bring the door to you.

Cheers, hopefully!

Alternatively, if you know somebody who can do it reasonably cheap then that would also be great.

If you don't find anyone who can do it for near mates rates, give me a shout and I can pass on my dads number. He's a general handyman, carpenter, plumber blokey who is based in central Bristol.

Ashton Vale. I have access to a router (from a friend) but I'm a bit nervous about doing it myself and I'd be happier paying somebody to do it for me, I just don't want to ruin the door as I've never used a router before.

I've pinged Mudskipper an email to see if his Dad can do it for me
