Greame, sorry had a peek at your profile to see where you are and see you're an event organiser?? Any sort of events?
HiMy events company runs triathlons out of the Cotswold Water park
Not really car related, although my 'day job' is for a large Japanese company with a H in its logo
What sort of event were you thinking of ?
One of the worst action days I've been to in many ways: cold; wet; very muddy. But far more people than I expected and lots of cars. I see they are starting to get on top of the idiots with liberal black flag use. Didn't stop some people drifting in the middle of groups of cars though!

i guess that would be aimed at the idiot in the white Silvia? yes, he was a right tt.On the otherhand, it was so slippery i had no grip what so ever in my 328 and dispite minimal throttle i still couldnt keep the darn thing in a straight line. I ended up right at the back pootling around with an M-Coupe who obviously had the same issue!
EDIT: if you see and video/photos of the 10:15 & 11:30 sessions can you let me know? looking for a few of the car

Thankfully the track was fairly dry for the Skoda only (ish) session which ended up being 2.30 after numerous delays. Fabia performed well with a GPS recorded top speed down before bottling it for quarry of 175km/h (I must change settings back to mph soon )
Was one of the wettest though. Thought it was only meant to be cloudy....

It was a white e46 I was thinking of!
bit surprised at that, the ones i saw were pretty well behaved given their reputation and the conditions. There was one bad green E36 driver but he got his commupance when he blew a water hose. apparently that was a 328 with a welded diff but it was going like a 316 when i saw it!

Dont take this the wrong way but i'm glad you had it mostly Skoda this year. Last year i ended up in your session and i cant help but think both myself and all the Skoda drivers would of prefered me to be elsewhere! The cars just didnt match performance wise:Was one of the wettest though. Thought it was only meant to be cloudy....
