I need to get some new oil cooler feed pipes made up, to replace my corroding ones before something nasty happens. OEM ones are now discontinued.

Does anyone know of any good hydraulic specialists in Devon/Somerset who could make something to suit? It may be possible to graft new braided sections onto the original end fittings to ensure 100% correct fitment.

If you have no luck with them, Joe @ FCSS (countrycruising on fccuk) has/had some braided replacements. Same with Flea/FC Performance.

Hi Rob. I have a price from Joe and although I'm sure they are top quality I was a little shocked at the price. Perhaps I'll give Leighton a try then. Thanks.

if its for a 20vT, which i'm assuming it is by mentioning Joe/Leighton then used pipes are probably not going to be great. even a few years back when i used them they were still pretty bad for 'good nick'.

if you can seperate the cooler from the pipes without breaking it then Pirtek will probably do you some for a good price.

otherwise i'd consider an aftermarket cooler and braided hoses smile

It is indeed a 20VT. I'm just looking at options really, as I was surprised at the costs involved. I know some owners have had braided pipes made up by local hydraulics specialists, so thought it might be worth exploring that route myself.

Probably a bit late, but these are simply the best. Suppliers to MotoGP, BSB etc and now into car kits. Ask for Ben Viner.
