Peninsula Open Day meet this Saturday!
Discussion
With the demise of the rolling road shoot-out I have managed to organise a karting session at Raceworld at 11.30 in the morning - £10 for a fifteen minute session, ideally we need ten people that would give us the option of running two groups of five with the top five qualifying to do a second session mini grand-prix so could we have a show of hands please? Serby and Pottsy have confirmed already.
Also do we still want lunch at the Golden Lion or hang on for the spit roast (Oo er matron!!) at Peninsula? Fiona has asked me to confirm some numbers for driving, food etc. Over to you.

Count me and me mate Dave in for whatever is happening. We'll do the Karting and either the spit roast or the pub. Dave wants a play in the Exige (and so do I) if we can swing it.
Neil from Peninsula gave me a lift back to Taunton in this "thing" on Wednesday night.
Built for big people - it is not!
Finally squeezed in - was touch and go for a while.
Exige was fun for about 10mins, if you get a drive make sure you go somewhere where you can boot it in 2nd or 3rd. Wait til the revs cross 6000 rpm. Incredible.
Apart from that - noisy (and not a nice sound), cramped and harsh.

had a great day and it was a pleasure to hear that the pug sounded better than those prancing posing fanny wagons which didnt even want to play on the way home you know who they were?
i hope that anyone who might be interested in the pug would make me a sensible offer for it as it dosent dissapoint. thanks to all at penninsula for making me feel welcome as a non tvr owner!
