Dog Control Orders in Wiltshire

I'm posting this both here and in the South West section because I have ny concerns about some possibly draconian restrictions that Wiltshire Council intend to put on dogs in the county.
One particular park, for example, which currently has a "dog free" zone at the bottom and a place where people can exercise their dogs at the top, is to become "dogs on lead only" park, with a fine of up to £1000 if dog owners don't comply.
We all have our own views on dogs (and incidentally, I am not a dog owner although I am an ex-owner) but I felt it best to give this matter as wide a coverage as possible.
