Hi Chaps,

I'm sending a load of bits off to be shot blasted and powder coated for the Frogeye. Petrol tank, wheels, suspension bits, rear axle, and so on.

Shot blasting is being done on an hourly rate (£35), but the powder coating is charged per 2.5m 'rack'.

I've probably got a bit of room left over for any odd bits anybody wants to get done, pretty sure my stuff won't take up the whole space. Anything like suspension arms, springs, hinges, handles, will probably fit at no extra charge to me.

So, if anybody has any small parts they want coated (probably matt black), drop me a pm, I'll need them in Cheltenham in the next few days, planning on dropping this lot of later this week.

Turnaround is 3-5 days, so likely to be collecting at the later part of next week.

I'm in Montpelier, Cheltenham, here most days and evenings.

No charge - just pass it on when you get the chance.

Bugger. If the Tuscan wasn't off to TVR Power for its service I would have had the spark plug cover done.

ideally it would need to be prior to the service as the cover is sealed during the service. Trouble is that the service is monday so I would need it back by Sunday morning. It all feels a bit tight so I will pass.

Thanks for the offer though.

Well.... My other option (which may work out better for me anyway), is to drop this lot off before I head off to China for three weeks, which would mean dropping it off late next week, but not getting it back until the first week of May. Unless somebody else wants to pick it all up from near Tewkesbury!

Either/or works for me, I don't need any of these parts for at least 12 months, I'm just looking to make some progress for when the bodywork is all done.

It'll be nice to have a stack of parts that are all clean, painted and ready to refit, but there's no urgency whatsoever.

So, ignore my timescales from above. smile
