Looks like myself and Mrs Saleen will be dining here.. http://www.flavourz.co.uk/bristol-buffet-restauran... in a couple of weeks for a joint birthday, is it any good or will I be left wishing we had eaten somewhere else?

Going to be intrigued to see the replies to this

I mean, it's obvious it's not the last word in fine dining, but for a good chow down at the price you're paying - is it any good?

Not really. But it is very hit and miss, the same with any other buffet type venue. If there's a load of you then scoff the good stuff and have a good night in town drinkparty

Doesn't exactly look like fine cuisine - not with stag & hen parties positively encouraged.

I'm afraid that sums it up quite nicely/badly

It does smell lovely when walking past mind you smile

Hmm, perhaps I'll stick to Browns for casual dining then!

I went there last for a leaving do. It was fine for that as there was a load of us and there was quite a bit of drink involved. It wasn't fine dining but to be fair they don't claim as much.

Well we went on Friday, it was fairly quiet except for the loud stag party and birthday party, thankfully the stag party left after approx 30mins so the place became quieter, as for the food..think of it along the same lines as somewhere with 'golden arches' as a symbol and add in you can just pay a fixed price and help yourself to as much as you like!...Of course this depends on how many people are eating at the same time as you, due to the fact you can be standing around for a while waiting for the buffet supplies to be cooked and replenished. I guess the plus point for me is the fact I was drinking soft drinks and you get free refills.
In my opinion, eat somewhere else!
