Thursday evening Mendip drive anyone?

Now that we actually have lighter evenings, and for the moment at least, lovely weather. I was wondering if anyone fancied a drive on up Cheddar Gorge, and onto the Mendips to finish at The Castle of Comfort pub, for a bite to eat and/or a drink.

Perhaps another time then, when the weather is good and before the hoards of grockles arrive? It would give me an excuse to bring mine into work.

Only just seen this thread. I'm in wells so defo up for this on another Thursday. I'm just about to pop up the gorge for an early run now, have a few guys from the S2000 forum meeting up.

I'm only in Axbridge so I'd be up for this on another Thursday or any other day. I can only come up for a drive for the time being though as I'm waiting on a wheelchair which'll fit in the MX5, I can't go anywhere to get out for now, I've had the car just 4 days so that isn't really a problem yet

I might take a run up there later, the roads are a little busy by the sounds of it, somewhere quieter may be in order

I'm up for it any evening to be honest. So maybe when the next nice day is forecast we can go for it? I'll set up another thread when I see a nice warm sunny evening on the horizon!
