I would be interested in this but can't do the 22nd. I love driving on the lizard. Also why such an early start?

Hi chaps the idea Ulf early start is you get up and miss
The traffic,that way the pace
is a little more fun.
The date is not set in stone
As I was not sure how
Many online would fancy it?

I think we need a list !
So here goes
Burnie Honda s2000

Put it into a pretty table. Quote the most recent version and copy a new line in at the bottom to fill with your details.

I suggest a 9-10am start to get more people along. There may be more traffic. If not I can cope with early.

When I lived In Chesterfield we would get 14 cars up early and the runs are so much better that way you keep the group togather andf the pace is so much better fun!!
Not sure how to add to the pretty box but we need another date 29th cheers Burnie

I only have problems when a quick overtake is called for. If it helps.

The box is looking better!!
Guys this will be a fast pace but with in the limits! no speeding at all in 30 limits.

where to start from? Think the roundabout at the Truro turn off A30 would work Shell garage near the Windmills?
Have some great routes sorted to get to The Lizard
Portreath, hayle, helston, the downs and then The Lizard should take an hour and half then Breakie plus drive back to Helston where we say good buys! Hows that sound?

here is my car when we went to italy with the S2000 club back in 09..I wish it still looked as clean!!!!stone chips!

Will keep an eye on this region, I'm down Cornwall quite a lot between end of May and early September and would like to join one of the runs if the dates tie in. smile

If the timings run to lunch rather than breakfast I can highly recommend Anne's Pasty Shop in Lizard Village. I remember reading a variation on the "pint of milk run" by Gooby on the Lotus Forum a few years back; he drove from Bournemouth via Barnstaple on a whim for a pasty. Can't find the thread now but it provided inspiration for a shorter jaunt last year.

I'll keep an eye on this thread and see how my Easter chores progress.

I won't confirm just yet, will have to see how things are a little closer to the time. PLus I may have to find a hotel for the night before if it's a 7am start as a drive down from Bristol beforehand would be way too early a start for me.

I was looking at a route hugging the coast after breakfast through Penzance, past Lands End to St Ives via Sennon and Zennor and up to Portreath.
Any takers?

It was good despite the rain... It is a pretty long route. I forget how long it took us.
